“In June of 2021, I will set off on a 250-mile round trip of Cornwall on foot. Starting in Bude, I will make my way down the north coast of Cornwall, before heading East along the south coast. Along the way, I will be visiting each and every rugby club in the County.
With the walk set to take around two weeks to complete, I plan to keep the cost of my journey low by using club facilities for accommodation. I’ll also be documenting my journey, interviewing people from across Cornwall as I make my way around the county.
I decided to take on this challenge to raise money for two deserving causes. Firstly, I’m raising money for Chae Jenkins, a friend of mine who is currently battling the toughest of physical health challenges. The second cause I am supporting is Cornwall Mind. With one in four people experiencing a mental health problem in Cornwall today, Cornwall Mind provide an essential service to those struggling with their own personal battles.”
