Bark Run news! - Cornwall Mind

Bark Run news!

Our first Bark Run event was a huge success and we are just blown away by your support and amazing community spirit.

We are thrilled that 95 people registered and 66 dogs took part!

Huge thanks to all our lovely walkers and runners and of course your gorgeous dogs! We loved meeting them all.

With special thanks to our event supporters:

Rosemullion Vets for their generous sponsorship, practical support and advice as well their paw-some volunteer team of dog welfare and human first aiders on the course.

Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen for marshalling the event and all their support from day one.

Trelissick – National Trust especially ranger Neil for the route, Lucy and Vicky in the Welcome and Partnership Teams, and all the volunteers who gave up their time to help on the day and marshal the garden.

Seasalt Cornwall for their gorgeous handyband gifts and for helping to hand out our doggy bags.

Truro Waitrose for paw-some goodie bags and donating the luxury hamper for the dog who raises the most sponsorship.

The Dog House Cornwall for sponsoring our race numbers and facilitating our selfie frames.

Truro Running Club for the loan of the signage.

Volunteer team on the day – our amazing photographers, our start/finish line volunteers and our Cornwall Mind team/Trustees.

We’re a small charity and we absolutely couldn’t have done this without you! We are super grateful to every single person who offered time, help and expertise to organise this exciting dog focused family fun run!

Massive thanks to all those who set up fundraising pages and all those who donated. Every penny we receive will directly help to support our wellbeing services.

Heartfelt thanks to our huge volunteer team on the day and especially our 4 photographers who gave up their time to pap your pooches! We will be posting more photos in our Bark Run Facebook event page – Bark Run! | Facebook

The event raised £4215! Amazing well done everyone!

You have all made such a difference! 💙

  1. Thank you for such a well organised and marshalled event. Such a friendly team. Super proud to have taken part in a ‘run’ with my lovely Tizzy and to raise a few pennies for such a worthy and much needed organisation.
