Penny joined Carrick Mind in 2018, firstly as a volunteer and then as a Trustee, seeing through the merger with Restormel to the now Cornwall Mind.
Penny previously worked for the NHS for 35 years in administration, alongside bringing up a family, managing a small property portfolio and supporting her husband in his Waste Business. She hopes to bring forward a balance to both the business side of Cornwall Mind whilst having an understanding of being an employee and a volunteer.
Penny has lived experience of mental health within her close family, and with that also comes a strong desire of what she would like to achieve for our clients using Cornwall Mind services.
