Groundwork have a life jacket for the passenger, who should wear warm comfortable clothes. Someone is there to help people embark and disembark and the whole passage is very peaceful and restful; the experience has been described as ’celestial’, ’sublime’, ‘comforting’ etc. One feels very safe and cosseted as a passenger in Ghost and the voyage is conducted in silence, so it’s easy to drift off, or day dream. People must be able to make their own way to the site.
