Volunteers needed!

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the community and support a local charity that you care about.

At Cornwall Mind we offer rewarding voluntary roles to help you create connections with the people around you and give back to the wider community.

By giving up as little as one or two hours a week you can help make a big difference to someone’s life, helping them rebuild their confidence, move forward in their recovery and reduce social isolation.

We aim to make your volunteering experience a positive one – you become part of our team, gain new skills, enhance your CV and have fun.

Volunteers are a valued part of our organisation, and we work hard to ensure that our volunteers have a rewarding experience. As a volunteer, you will receive an induction, training and ongoing support appropriate for your role. We also pay out of pocket expenses.

Maybe you could help with the wellbeing groups, be part of the media and fundraising team, help with office administration or get involved with events, we offer voluntary positions that suit the times you’re able to commit and your level of experience.

Choosing to volunteer for Cornwall Mind not only means you can help us support the people in our community who need us, but it can also help your own wellbeing. Supporting and helping others can improve your happiness, give you a sense of purpose and improve your self-confidence.  If you are passionate about better mental health in Cornwall and have a couple of hours a week to spare, we’d love to hear from you. Email us at:info@cornwallmind.org
