Volunteers’ Week 2026

This Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of the incredible volunteers who support Cornwall Mind.

From helping at events and fundraising, to being trustees or ambassadors, or supporting our groups, book shop, and the office team – our volunteers play such an important role in everything we do. And make such a difference to the lives of people across Cornwall every single day.

Mental health support is about connection, compassion, and community, and our volunteers help create safe, welcoming spaces where people feel heard, valued, and less alone. We simply couldn’t do what we do without them.

Every conversation, every smile, every hour given helps support better mental health and wellbeing in our local communities.

Our Volunteer Coordinator Leanne said: “We hold our volunteers in the highest regard for the valuable time they give, the skills they bring, their lived experience, along with the empathy and understanding, of which they have in abundance.  Wherever their time is spent across Cornwall Mind it is felt, it has an impact.  Together we are building a community.”

To all our amazing volunteers – thank you for the care, energy, and heart you bring to Cornwall Mind. You truly make a difference.
