This very creative lady has been selling her beautiful paintings and raising money for us.
She told us; ” Last year a close family attempted to end her life , thankfully she survived following the excellent care from emergency services on the Isles of Scilly and in Cornwall. I am so grateful to the care and compassion received from the staff working on Critical Care. This was a very worrying time and I am grateful to the support from my wonderful husband, family and friends, your kindness has given me strength.
Over the last year I have taken to drawing and painting, I find I can practice mindfulness whilst painting and drawing.
Following recent positive comments on my paintings of the ‘ Nearly Home Trees’ I have decided to paint and fundraise for Cornwall Mind. Most people in Cornwall and Devon recognise these trees , so aptly named the Nearly Home Trees and so relevant for anyone who may feel lost or confused or sad.
All monies made (minus cost of paper/paint/postage) will be sent to Cornwall Mind.
We really appreciate this support and every penny donated to us will help to fund our wellbeing services.
