Move for Cornwall Mind this winter!

Join Cornwall Mind’s New Year challenge and give yourself a new year boost!

Kick off 2026 by being active, having fun, and raising funds for a great cause at the same time.

Move for Mind is simple – do 31 minutes of exercise every day for the whole of January. That’s 31 minutes of daily activity (at least) for 31 days!

What do I have to do?

Choose your challenge! You can do anything you like to take part in Move for Mind and change it every day if it suits – dance around your living room,  jog in the park before work, or walk the coastal path. Take up swimming, surfing or skateboarding in the new year… the possibilities are endless! You can also team up with friends if that makes it easier – just as long as you’re moving and having fun!

Why get involved?

🕺A reason to move more. You might want to become more active but not sure how to stick at it? And moving more every day can boost your wellbeing in lots of ways, from sleeping better to feeling less stressed. 

💙Champion mental health for everyone (especially you). How about knowing that while you’re doing your 31 minutes of exercise every day, you’re also joining the fight for better mental health across Cornwall.

Two birds, one priority – mental health. By moving more you’re prioritising your own mental health as well as raising funds. It’s a win-win!

Fundraising

Although affiliated to national Mind, Cornwall Mind is a totally independent and self-funded local charity, reliant on donations and fundraising to carry out our vital work across the county.

£10 – will pay for us to answer a call from someone in need of support.

£50 – will help to pay for someone to receive one-to-one support, helping them connect with others and feel less alone.

£100 – will help to pay for someone to benefit from a wellbeing course, helping them to build confidence and improve their quality of life.

When is it happening?

Sign up now to begin on New Year’s Day! Your 31 days of exercise takes up the whole of January but once you’ve started you won’t want to stop!
