Time to Talk Day 2026
Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It’s a day for all of us to come together to talk, listen and change lives. It’s happening on Thursday 5th February.
Why is talking important?
Talking openly and honestly can be the first step towards better mental health for everyone. It can reduce stigma and help people feel comfortable enough to seek help when they need it. Text a friend, chat over a cuppa, go for a walk with a colleague, share something on social media – there are lots of ways you can start a conversation.
Join in the conversation and help support mental health in Cornwall
We need your help to encourage even more conversations this year and help raise vital funds for mental health support in Cornwall.
There are lots of ways you can fundraise for Cornwall Mind on Time to Talk Day. By hosting a fundraiser, you won’t just be helping to break the stigma – your contributions will directly support those who need it most.
Get your workplace, community group or school involved! You could host a bake sale, organise a book swap, or have a coffee morning. Other great ideas include an office quiz, a fancy dress day, or even a shared lunch.
And don’t worry, our friendly fundraising team is on hand to offer support and inspiration for your Time to Talk Day event. Drop an email to fundraising@cornwallmind.org for advice, help with donations, or any other support.
And if you’re looking for a little guidance on how to support others, take a look at Mind’s free online course.
