Take part in the TCS London Marathon 2026 and raise funds for Cornwall Mind at the same time!

With over 55,000 runners, unbeatable crowd support and a route that passes by some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, it’s no surprise that the London Marathon tops many a bucket list.

A record-breaking 1.133 million people entered the public ballot for next year’s race and for the first time ever, Cornwall Mind has secured some charity places – so if 2026 is your marathon year, we want to hear from you!

By taking on the TCS London Marathon with us, you’re not just running 26.2 miles – you’re making a direct impact on the mental health of people in your community. We support people across the whole of Cornwall providing vital mental health services that change lives.

Every penny you raise stays local, helping to fund our wellbeing programmes which are a lifeline to so many people facing mental health challenges.

Apply for a Cornwall Mind Silver Bond place

Our applications for the 2026 TCS London Marathon are now open and #TeamCornwallMind is ready to accept new members!

To register for one of our places please complete our application form.

We recommend providing as much information as possible about why you’re raring to run for Cornwall Mind and about how you’re planning to fundraise before race day. Sadly we’re unable to offer a London Marathon place to everyone who applies so giving detailed answers will help give you the best chance of securing a place. Our team will review each application before allocating places and we will be in touch with all applicants by 31st July.

Please note – The closing date for applications is Sunday 20th July at midnight.

There will also be a waiting list in case anyone drops out before the registration deadline.

If you have any questions or queries regarding the application process, or if you require a different format for accessibility, please contact us.

What’s the fundraising commitment?

If you’re offered a Cornwall Mind space and you accept, there’s a £100 registration fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Charity places are strictly limited and we kindly ask our runners to each fundraise a minimum of £2,000 (excluding Gift Aid). As a small charity we rely on our runners to each meet this pledge.
  • We will also ask you to raise an initial £1000 by 31st January 2026. If you miss this deadline, we may offer your place to someone else on the shortlist.

Mark, who ran the 2025 London Marathon in aid of Cornwall Mind

Running the London Marathon is an incredible, positive and life-affirming experience. It doesn’t matter how fast or slow you may be, it’s about being there among the cheering crowds, and achieving your own goals. I chose to run for Cornwall Mind in 2025 because I was lucky enough to have a Good For Age place and wanted to do something good with it. I’ve experienced mental health difficulties myself and know how important it is to be able to access support when you need it. With Cornwall Mind being local, they were a great choice to run for. Training for the London Marathon requires dedication and consistent training over months, but on the day and when you cross the finish line, you won’t regret a moment!
