Time To Talk Day 2021

The Power of Small

A small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference.

We know that the more conversations we have, the more myths we can bust and barriers we can break down, helping to end the isolation, stigma and discrimination that too many of us with mental health problems face.

Time to Talk Day is the day that we get the nation talking about mental health. Life is very different right now, and having conversations about mental health are more important than ever.

Around 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem this year, yet the shame and silence can be as bad as the mental health problem itself. Your attitude to mental health could change someone’s life.

We need your help to start that conversation this Time to Talk Day – together we can end mental health stigma.

Send that text, make that call, plan that Zoom catch up, go for that walk and talk, start those conversations.

And remember, sometimes we say we’re fine when we’re not. So we’re asking you, when you ask someone if they’re ok, ask twice.
