Time to Talk Day 2024

Time to Talk Day is an annual awareness day held at the beginning of February. This year it’s Thursday 1st February.

It’s a day for us all to start a conversation about mental health. Talking about mental health isn’t easy. But a conversation has the power to change lives.

Time to Talk Day is run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, in partnership with the Co-op for the third year running.

Why talking is important

1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year. And the cost of living crisis is only making it harder to look after our mental health.

Sometimes it’s easier to tell people we’re ‘fine’ than it is to say how we really feel. But talking openly and honestly can be the first step to better mental health.

The more we talk about mental health the better life is for everyone.

Having a conversation can make all the difference.

We all have mental health and by talking about it we can support ourselves and others.

Get involved.
