Suicide bereavement support in Cornwall.
Many people bereaved by suicide find that they need more specific support than that provided for bereavement in general and can find it particularly valuable to make use of support groups that are especially designed for people bereaved by suicide.
It can really help to talk to others who may have experienced a similar loss; they may be able to relate to what you’re feeling or help you to feel less alone.
We offer two groups to help.
There is no time limit to the bereavement and the loss does not have to have been recent.
Hope Walks is a walking group that helps people to meet others with a shared experience and provide each other with peer support and opportunities to walk and talk in a safe environment. Our walks take place monthly at Cotehele near Saltash, Trelissick Gardens near Truro, Tehidy near Illogan and Lanhydrock near Bodmin.
All our walks run on Mondays at 10am. Once you sign up, we can share our timetable.
Singing for Wellbeing is a singing group in Camborne, with opportunity to meet others who have shared a similar loss, benefit from peer support, and participate in an enjoyable activity which can help improve your wellbeing. And you don’t have to be able to sing to join.
It runs on the first Thursday of every month 10.00 am – 12 noon.
