We couldn’t lead the fight for mental health without our volunteers. Cornwall Mind volunteers play a huge part in everything we do.
Volunteering can be a really rewarding and useful experience – and there’s probably more ways of doing it than you might think. From helping support our wellbeing groups, becoming a Trustee or helping organise our events. there are many ways you can give your time.
Here at Cornwall Mind we rely on our fantastic volunteers to help us deliver our services and support our day-to-day work.
We are very proud of the work that our volunteers do.
We offer a variety of roles and in return for your time and effort, we offer a supportive working environment, valuable work experience, involvement in social activities, the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge, access to training, supervision and out of pocket expenses.
I was made redundant and hit an all time low. Volunteering gave me back my identity and gave me a sense of purpose. The connections I made, and the skills I learnt, boosted my confidence and I felt valued again. I now work in health care, and it’s all thanks to having the opportunity to volunteer for Cornwall Mind.
