Mental Health Awareness Week 12 – 18 May
Mental health is everything. Mental health is more than just a small part of our lives.
It’s connected to every little thing we do, every place we go and every person around us. Mental health is our physical health, our finances, our relationships. It’s part of our defining moments and the day to day.
Despite this, a recent Mind survey found public attitudes and understanding of mental health have started to go backwards. The mental health system is broken and people facing other challenges like poverty and racism have the least access to support.
We’re all unique and our lives are too, but mental health is a fundamental part of all of us. That’s why at Cornwall Mind we don’t look at mental health on its own. Through our services we explore all the parts of a person’s life, so better mental health can inspire a happier and healthier society overall.
That’s why every show of support, no matter the size, will have an enormous impact. And that’s why we need you with us in the fight, so no mind gets left behind.
