Go Bright Fun Run – Sunday 16 August 2026

Lace up, dig out your most colourful clothes and Go Bright for Cornwall Mind at our new summer family fun run, held at National Trust Trelissick, near Truro, on Sunday, 16th August, 2026 at 9.00 am.

Walk, skip, run or dance, the bespoke 1-mile (or 2-mile) route weaves around ancient oaks and private parkland with epic views of the Fal Estuary, starting and finishing outside the stately Trelissick House. The Trust has opened this section of the estate especially for us, creating a safe, contained area, so the run is ideal for everyone and especially for families with young children.

Members of the Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen have also kindly offered their support and will be marshalling the whole route.

The Go Bright Fun Run at Trelissick will be a summer highlight for locals and visitors alike. In a setting that’s hard to beat in terms of incredible views and scenery, there is an option to run either one or two laps of the course – you can decide your distance on the day!

Custom-made Harry Rabbit Promotions medals will be presented on the finish line, which have been kindly sponsored by one of our major supporters, Cornwall-based accountants RRL.

There will also be family fun goodies and prizes presented for the best and brightest costumes.

Although affiliated to national Mind, Cornwall Mind is a totally independent and self-funded local charity, reliant on donations and fundraising to carry out our vital work across the county. Your support and sponsorship will make a difference!

We kindly ask every individual participant to aim to raise a minimum of £10. And every family to aim to raise a minimum of £50.
